The annual United Way Pizza Dinner sponsored by the Cuba-Rushford Student Council and Honor Society provided a generous donation of $2,100 to Allegany County United Way. This dinner was their best attended and provided their largest donation to date. The students did a great job selling pre-sale tickets and the video creation class helped spread the word through the televised daily announcements. The dinner was also a great success thanks to the donations of generous sponsors: Giant Food Mart, Cuba Cheese Shoppe and Tasta Pizza. Additionally all of the students made a monetary donation and volunteered their time to make the event a success. A special thanks goes to the Cuba-Rushford staff and community as well as the Boliver-Richburg basketball fans for supporting the event and Allegany County United Way.
